Percent of Sitemap Being Indexed Is Dropping

    For years I've faithfully submitted a sitemap.xml each time I add a new page. And Google Webmaster Tools has consistently shown Google indexing close to 100% of the submitted pages.

    But in recent weeks, when I check my sitemap stats on GWT, they are showing only about 80-85% of my pages indexed? Is anyone else experiencing a recent drop in the percentage of your pages showing in Google's index? Any ideas why? I've done nothing different. I have no warnings in GWT. And my website is entirely "white hat."

    Do you have any duplicate content? (e.g. the same content can be accessed through more URLs?)

    Update: Now the pages are once again nearly 100% indexed (330 of 333). I made no changes. Weird.
