Pepperjam Partners with eBay Partner Network

Does pepperjam hook into eBay's backend systems directly or does it connect in via EPN?

I have EPN sites that use the Ebay API. Will I still be able to use the Ebay API with PepperJam?

Would changing over to PepperJam, require us to change the tracking code on all of our sites? Let me know.

greg2008 - yes. Please ping me via private mail and we'll work out the details to get you access to the eBay API through Pepperjam Network.

tntrader - unfortunately yes. We use Pepperjam Network tracking links. However, we may be able to accomodate specific requests. Once you get accepted into the eBay program on PJN I would encourage you to ask a member of our management team to see if you can come to a solution.

gustav1989 - Pepperjam Network provides the tracking, reporting, and payment solution for the eBay program on PJN. We are confident that our solution, which is in partnership with EPN, is as accurate or more accurate than the solution used on Commission Junction. I hope that rests your concerns. As I mentioned previously, we don't get paid unless we can track transactions and leads. In addition, keep in mind that we are working directly with eBay to provide Pepperjam Network affiliates with all of the tools and solutions (i.e. API access, widget access, link generator, etc.) available on EPN.

 

BTW - we are expecting to release deep linking (aka, eBay Link Generator) and advanced links (aka, flash banners, etc.) this week.

Just signed up with PepperJam. Now I'm waiting to be accepted by EPN. Shouldn't be a problem I would think.

mberman84 - we are currently speaking with BANS and hope to work out our relationship ASAP - it may depend on their development schedule since they may have to do some work on their backend to accomodate us.

DP Members - I'm looking for a Top 3 or Top 5 list of what eBay tools we should make available to you on Pepperjam Network. (i.e. BANS, Link Generator, API Access, Editor Kit, RSS Feed Generator, etc.).

I sincerely appreciate your input.

I will take your feedback to prioritize release of each of these tools with our tech team.

I hope this is sooner rather then later, I'd really like to move my BANS sites over to PJN.

How are the PJ ads going to work? Will it just be things like sign up for ebay or would it be more like live items for sale in a certain category?

 

If you can make a BANS like script for PJN members, that would be great

I applied to Pepperjam Network today.

I found it very amusing when I saw the application form. In the "state" and "country" column, I have no ideas what do put in for my case as only 3 alphabets are allowed(country: Malaysia, state: Melaka)! Well, you know what? The world is very big, not all countries and states have naming system like those in US.

Hopefully you do not reject affiliates based on their locations.

i think BANS should be #1 on development list, the amount of people using it and switching over to you will be tremendous.

I use BANS and Ebay API. All future sites will use the API.
