hey guys have you had any blogs with adsense, and blog everyday, I mean whats the profit like on bloggin with adsense?
Your blog has to be super popular. I've tried this before, and so has a friend of mine, and you just don't see significant earnings unless your blog is widely read.
kutty luver, if you don't mind me asking whats your daily income from your blog? if you could be open in that part?
As has been said many times, blogs are not much different to a site in terms of its earning power as it would depend on the ads shown, and we all know ads are triggered by content on a page. However, my guess is that it would be harder to get traffic (traffic being of great importance for clicks, of course) to a blog than a site, but a good blog can easily start getting quite a bit of regular readers.
Depends on many factors really, for example what type of blog software you use can make a big difference with SE rankings and how often you get indexed. Keyword density, and the basic things really, it's all just how you market it and how often you update it.
I earn pennies a day too But yeah.. if you are going to have a blog (for adsense) then you'll need to commit to updating it as often as possible.. Just a little tip (it's probably common sense but anyways..) submit each of your blog posts to DIGG, that's what I do and that's where most of my traffic comes from
again it all depends on content/keywords and traffic, i have blogs that i update once few weeks, and get like 5-10 clicks a year...and i have other blogs that i update weekly that get like 1-2 clicks a week thats cuz i dont get much traffic on them
I created my new Blog to support my Advisory website and I am getting lots of traffic thanks to the RSS feed. Anyway when I enrolled I setup an Ad Sense section on my Blog and to my amazement I am now earning just under $1.00 per day with just 60-80 unique visitors every 24 hours. I am now considering adding a section to each of my web pages and these pages average 150-200 unique and returning visitors every 24 hours. I hope that my Ad Sense $ pays for my Ad Word costs by the middle of 2007.
i just started using adsense earlier this week on my 3month old blog . and so far im only earning around 1x bucks a day . and thats with only one adunit located under my header . im sure once my traffic gets back to the normal 4-6k uniques a day ill earn more . i also hope to get my ctr up to at least 1% or more earning $1 for 60- 80 uniques is awesome .
I think that my take on blogs is bit contray to the general consensus, however, I can honestly tell you that I have not been nearly as successful with static webpages over the passed 12 yearss as I have with blogs over the passed 3. I should point out that I am not talking about personal blogs or diary type journals, but, niche targeted sites that are run on top of a CMS, usually Wordpress.org or Drupal. I have found nothing that allows the ease of adding fresh content that automatically optimizes it for search engines and I find that the number if inbound links that I get on sites that are blogs on the backend is significantly higher which, of course, aids with SERPs. Lastly, the free plugins that higher end blog engines offer add a wealth of value to the overall monetization strategy of my sites that would take countless hours of coding myself or otherwise have to pay someone to implement on a static site for me.
I make like $2 a day average with a ctr of about 5% for for page impressions. The problem is I don't get as many page impressions as I would like. My budget is basically $0 starting from nothing so no matter what i'm always making profit i guess
hmm..interesting input there. Honestly the difference "web page" and "blog" also kind of eludes me...EXCEPT that i associate a blog with more frequent/dynamic updated content. There is no rule which tells you to use a blog *only* as a personal "diary" kind of thing..i mean you can put up an estore on a blog or a gallery or whatever. I just implemeted a very primitive amazon astore although running in an iframe, literally in two mins with two lines of code. The "beauty" of it also google seems to like blogs...and you get a an accesible domain name usually. There are other great things (sorry, i am a blog newbie still)....but ways to update content via email, RSS feeds IN and OUT to promote the blog...etc..etc..
I don't have adsense in my blog ATM but i know someone earns a lot from blogs. like http://problogger.net
