How do I deal with them? I mean I submitted a complaint/disupute and all on paypal but they don't respond. I escalated the claim but it still says "awaiting response of other party" How can I quicken the process?
There is no way to stop it. However their are ways to secure this such as making sure the person is creditable, and the fact that you can wreck that.
A Paypal employee has to process the whole thing. So it's on PayPal Time, unfortunately. If your claim/dispute is valid, with proof, then whether the other person responds or not, it will be resolved in your favor. And just so you know, both sides of the party have a certain time frame in which to respond and/or deal with the dispute.
contact the other party and ask them about your money. try it again and again. if still no response?? tell: GO TO H*ll!!! Ba*st*rd!!
when the deadline is meet and the other party still not reponded to the message, Paypal you will autamatic win, and you will be refunded whatever paypal can get from that party.
Unfortunately, I believe if the product/service is intangible, PayPal will not award you a win. Best of luck to you.
jliu hit the nail on the head. It's highly unlikely you'll recover your money. If you paid via credit card, contact your credit card company and ask them to get your money back from paypal.
If it is not big amount, I would say forget about it... it takes too much time, effort etc to get something out of that...
Probably intangible meaning a service - such as designing a web site, or writing an article or some such thing.
I got my money back from one claim today. They decided in my favor because the other party did not respond.
