I have noticed on other smaller webmaster sites people who try and rip template monster templates and then sell them in the market place but I have not noticed that here until recently. what do you guys think about this, is it ok to take inspiration from their templates (in my opinion it's alright as long as it isn't over inspired) but what about people who completely rip parts of their templates? what should you do if you see some one doing that?

I know I recently bought a site with a ripped template (found out after I got the psd) and I wasn't to happy about it but do you think it is a good idea to warn others if you see some thing like this?

inspiration is one thing, copying is another. though i have no problem copying a tm site if that is what a client wants but i prefer to do original designs.

most chances that the template is not that "original" at first place, no?

I remember one web project in which our designer totally ripped off a really unique design of another web page.
the letter from their "lawyer" was quick to follow.
shamefully, we reverted back to our former design.
