A fairly important change to how we are processing payments for people selling stuff in the digital goods marketplace and for publishers selling ad space in Digital Point Ads...

Rather than blindly sending a payment to your listed PayPal email address (and hoping you have IPN notices set up right on your PayPal account), we've switched to use PayPal's adaptive payment system which gives us more flexibility with what we can do with payments.

The most important part is that you need to link your PayPal account to your Digital Point account here in order to receive payments: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/account/third-party-accounts

An example of added flexibility we can offer under the new system is digital goods sellers can now set an affiliate payout percent if you want, and the system will handle affiliate payments as needed... so the system has a built in affiliate program.

Okay... 5 weeks is enough time. All digital goods (mostly eBooks since they existed before the site migration) that the seller has not yet linked their PayPal account have been disabled (the seller can enabled them again as soon as they link their PayPal account).

Got tired of people telling me that wanted to buy something but couldn't since the seller couldn't receive a payment.
