I need people to transcribe audio for me. The audio will be English and of good quality. The output can be as a TXT file. I need several hours of audio transcribed and this could be a long term project. Let me know what your fees are PER HOUR OF AUDIO. This is how professional transcription services rate their time. Clearly an hour of audio is more than an hour of typing but that is a good standard. The audio would be delivered at different times and in different lengths. The HOURLY rate would be pro-rated (so, 30 minutes of audio is half the hour rate and 5 hours would cost 5x hour rate). I would expect an average maximum of 5-7 days turnaround although I am aware that some things are quicker and some things slower and that turnaround also depends on the workload. I am flexible with this. I could have a lot of work needs doing so this can suit multiple people. The copy must be in good English with few mistakes. I can accept that not everybody will be able to produce perfect results and I will proofread everything afterwards. However, people from non-English speaking countries should be aware that I am happy to use their services provided the resulting work for me is reasonable. I do not want to spend hours correcting mistakes etc. Because of problems I have had in the past I will only pay on satisfactory completion of any job but my reputation here speaks for itself. Please do not ask for money up front, deposits, prepayments or such as I will not do this. I will reward good and timely work and always pay at completion.

Thanks to everyone that has replied. I have been a bit overwhelmed! People - you MUST NOT sell yourself too cheaply. I have had several people say they would do this for $10 per hour. That is suicide. The going rate seems to be around $25 PER AUDIO HOUR. I do not need people to undercut this rate - I want quality and someone I can work with rather than a cheap rushed job. For now I have enough people so if you have not heard from me by PM then for now I will not be able to respond. But I will contact people if there are problems or issues. Thanks for all the responses
