People in China eat babies as soup, do you believe it?

Lots of bad people in the U.S but mostly civilized.

Enter the politics! I never said about 'I'm-promoting-dog-eating-in-America" or anywhere else for that matter. I don't care what examples you throw in, may it be dogs, cats or even monkeys. I just said that because I think that NOT ALL Chinese people eat the animals you were referring to. Is it that bad to say something which is true? Again, I do NOT promote eating dogs and I can fairly understand why you are reacting in such a way, you are a dog lover and that is normal. I once owned a German Shepherd and boy, I loved my dog, it was also hard for me when she died because I had to bury my OWN pet after spending 15 years with her. You don't even know me so don't go saying I support dog eating because that is, again, another display of being judgmental.

By the way, I'm not that much into politics so I may have to disagree being referred as a "Liberalist".

I bring politics into the thread because liberals protect the bad habits of people weather foreign or domestic to advance their own agenda. Eating cats and dogs along with other animals probably was acceptable in past BC societies but hey, "This is the U.S.A." and we are suppost to be a civilized society that's getting away from cannibilizing the animal population. Were suppost to be protecting wildlife to preserve the ecological system, not eating everything thing that moves.

I'll state right here and now, "NOT ALL CHINESE EAT THEIR DOGS". OK! But from the evidence that is surfacing it appears a large portion of the chinese population does canniblilize every animal in sight. I get all this from news sources as I got the picture of the dead dogs in a stew pot from wiki.

Don't give me the race card about ethnic conflict. There's nothing racial about discussing the habits of other societies on this planet earth and not liking their uncivilized habits even though they themselves think their bad habits are civilized.

Great thing hearing about the time you got to spend with your dog. I've had a couple of dogs I had to lay to rest in my lifetime due to old age and illness.

I'm not knocking you because of your opinion. I'm knocking you because you knocked me thinking my statement were flawed. My statements "Are Not Flawed". Now, when all is said and done does anyone think that I am going to backoff so they can save themselves to look good? I don't like to get into these disputes and do my best to stay out of them but you brought this to me so you can bow out and it will go no further.

 

I'm not American so I'm not sure with the "This is U.S.A part", I don't see the White House from here. and enough with the dogs, I think we've reached a common ground on that matter. I apologise if I knocked you with my statement and made you think that it was flawed, again I am no genius to perfectly control human emotions, so that's my flaw.

The U.S.A. (I'm a U.S. citizen) has organizations like "Greenpeace", "Peta", "The Human Society", "ASCPA" (Animal Rights Organization) and theirs tons of other private organizations that focus on stopping animal cruelty and ecological issues. The U.S.A. is filled with people against cannibilizing the animal population. Very frowned upon. Peta attacks food processing companies that process animal type foods. Everyone has pet dogs over here. The stray dogs get picked up and after a certain amount of time passes the state will put them to sleep. Lots of animal shelters popping up everywhere to stop the putting to sleep of animals by the government so the animals can live out the rest of their lives. Animal shelters are a big thing over here.

I'm not pushing the white house on anyone especially now with Obama occuping it. Obama's trying to turn the U.S. into a socialist country where the government tells everyone what they can and cannot do. This blows big time.


The last time I heard the child limit in China was two. I guess they reduced the number to one.

I had an internet buddy that was ex navy and he was married to a chinese girl. He was talking about moving over to China because his wifes family was going to set them up with a house and new appliances. He told me he had two children and I asked him about this Chinese law concerning the two child rule (I guess now it's one). After a few months passed I asked him if he had moved yet and he said no. He still lives here in the U.S. and doesn't talk about moving anymore.

 

Would that also affect tourism? lol. I think that this shows a bad effect on tourists as well. The Chinese in general are good people and they also have a rich culture. I don't really understand why would they do such things? AFAIK, the Chinese people has been known to use certain animals for medicinal purposes, but infants? Not sure about that.

There's lots of Chinese U.S. citizens in the U.S. There's lots of Chinese tourists that come to the U.S. . Most Chinese living in China want to dump their Chinese communist government and move to capitalism. Several cities in the U.S. have "China Towns". Nothing but Chinese people.

Communist, socialist governments always try to suppress people with lies, improper education and indoctrination of the children to be loyal to the government in power. This keeps the people believing that all these things including what they believe is medicine from certain animal parts is good for them and they keep killing off animals for no reason. In actuallity the using of these animal parts as medication isn't doing nothing them but killing off animals. Animal parts aren't doing anything for them spiritually either. This is all ancient thinking before modern technology and the communist government is supressing the education of the Chinese people to keep the country communist. With the computer age the Chinese people can learn and will eventually move away from the "Ancient" ways.

The Chinese do have a rich culture. The Chinese government still blocks alot of the internet content but can't block it all.

This thread is the first I've heard about eating infants. I have a hard time believing it too. But I've seen to much media about the Asians doing things like this with animals. Your an outcast here in the U.S. if you get caught eating animals that aren't socially acceptable to eat. If you eat a fetus you're in jail. If those pictures were of U.S. citizens of chinese heritage with that fetus in the soup bowl the U.S. government would hunt them down and put them in jail for murder. No kidding! Those Chinese in the picture would be "GONE!" If those Chinese in the picture were Chinese tourists in the U.S. with the fetus in the soup bowl those Chinese tourists would be in jail and Gone.

 

This is one of the most interesting things in DP. When you think that you know your world good, sometimes DP thread can prove you wrong. I never know this and I would like to know more about this. In my country this is illegal. Just wondering is there any Chinese Human Rights Organization member who ever see this?

 

Whoa....ummm, real pictures but - I'm sure it's not common practice over there. Of course it isn't, otherwise everyone would know about it, and it wouldn't be happening!

 

Steering the Chinese government away from their 'ancient' ways would be a tough nut to crack. Only Chuck Norris would be able to do that! lol.

On a more serious note, China has always been known as the sleeping dragon in terms of military strength and power and they would most likely want to stay that way for.. hrmm.. at least another millenium. If that would always be the case then the Chinese people would always remain following their 'cultural' ways up until who knows when. Thus, eating infants would still continue and could get a lot worse.

Everything like this coming out of China has to be snuck out. With tiny digital cameras and a Chinese population that's growing more and more westernized liking the internet alot that the Chinese government regulates only bits and pieces of the real deal is leaking out.

Mao Tang Shung (I forget what his name is) or whatever his name is that turned China communist after WW2 killed an estimated 50 million Chinese people thoughout his reign. This is fact and alot of Chinese citizens still worship this guy to this day.

In my own personal opinion if this fetus eating thing is real it is probably handed down through the generations and is a deep dark chinese secret until now when someone trusted witnessed it and happened to have one of these small digital cameras handy. Deep dark Chinese secrets are starting to surface now that the whole Chinese population is armed with digital cameras. I do know the Chinese government hates the internet and recently test fired an anti satelite missle at one of their own antique satilites. They claimed they hit it but have no proof.

Well if he killed more or less than 50 million Chinese people, then why is that China is still suffering from their uber population? lol. Well I think that this is no secret anymore and they're more than willing to show it to the world, I've also searched and poked around more in Google and I found more pictures displaying dead infants in soup bowls.

Well, people do stuff to each other, the planet, other forms of life and politics either lets it happen or stops it.

 

Yes, the mass slaughter of people did happen in China starting back after WWII. The slaughter happened to get rid of everyone that opposed the communist government.

Actually, before this happened the Japanese at the start of WWII invaded China, attacked one town and slaughtered some 200,000 to 300,000 Chinese. Wiped the whole town out. Just killed everyone including women and children on the spot.

Why is China overpopulated? They breed faster than rabbits. I guess the Chinese must be the horniest people on the face of the earth. From this thread I'm thinking the Chinese man and woman screw to produce their self made food. "That's Sick Isn't It!"
