Hello folks. I'm to suppose to travel to India in Dec, but my friend who went there just got back. The guy spoiled everything with bad opinions and told me not to go. He went to Agra( That's where i'm going to in Dec) visited some monuments there. He told me he saw the Tomb of Akbar, Taj Mahal and the othesr. He told me the only thing that worth his trip a little was the Taj Mahal witch i agreed with him, since i noticed here this is the only place Indians on this forum considered as the most beautiful place. Move on, he said most of the place its dump witch, the local govt only focus on the subburb places mostly in India, while the mast population living in slums. I know India is not a perfect place to go sometimes.. Its still a third world country , but would it be a good idea to buy a $1500k for plane ticket or go somewhere else?. Also can some of you guys tell me other places i should visit in India( no Taj Mahal) please.
Dude , India has everything that you want. I agree there are places where you cannot spend more than 50$ per day even if you want to.Having said that, there are places where you won't have enough money to spend. The best part is the two places are not that far from each other. If you don't want to visit India, come down south and visit Kerala. There is Alleppey, the Venice of the east. The climate is good and you'll have a great time. It is called god's own country and I'm sure you won't regret.
India is very nice country.once u come then u ll be come to know.if u get the chance then go to gujarat.....u ll find the real culture of india.. Regards Dollar hunter
When i travel most of times i don't worry about places where i can spend money less or more money. I preferred to go places where i can smell fresh air and not have to deal with any BS. What's so special about Kerala? Please tell me more about it.
- If you go Agra, see the Taj Mahal - Then go Amritsar and see the Golden Temple. - Then go to Himachal Pradesh/Jammu Kashmir and enjoy the heaven there. - You can also go to Mumbai and have your whole time spent there partying in the Discotheque's, going to Juhu Beach, Bandra bandstand, Santacruz Bowling Company and do alot of shopping near Mulund Area. - You can go to south and visit a huge number of rivers and do alot of sight seeing. Trust me, if you know the places there or have someone to guide you through, you will not even have a minute to spare on a phone call to describe what you have seen.
Aahhh... I'm just saying that there are ways to completely avoid all those BS if you don't wanna see them and its not that difficult at all. Just google to know more about kerala. Its specialty is the backwaters.
What are you into like ? hills, beaches ? monuments, religous place, nature or what ? that way we can help you to analyse it
