    Hi,

I suppose this happens when they come across an empty folder... or something similar.

AWSTATS shows the most common keyword for which they find my site as being: "indexof/"

Where could this be coming from?

I have no empty folders on my site. Could it be some offensive intrusion attempt?

Google doesn't show results directly from any website, the results are from google's database. So if your website was empty before and now you have set it up, you need to wait till google again visits your website and updates the latest pages.

If your site is indexed as "index of" , then you can request to remove this from web master tool or you can request a fetch to reindex your site again.

    Thanks

I still don't understand where this comes from. The figure is increasing...

Could I just refresh the sitemap and that could solve the problem?
