Lately i been getting people contacting me through my whois privacy protection email asking about purchasing links. I never mention selling links on my site, so these are completely random. Im not talking about that contactthem.ws scam, these people don't mention what links they want to sell or how much. My question is has anyone got good offers from these random anonymous offers or are these people just spamming hundreds of domains hoping to pay as little as possible for some ridiculous small amount?
In my experience if it sounds to good to be true... well you know the rest :-/ Let us know if you take them up on the offer. Ash
sheesh I put up a contact form yesterday and the same guy hit another one of my sites. The majority seem to be from one guy saying he has business sites but that he is interested in links on my site. It must be mass spamming it cause he is hit about 3 of my sites. But in the past I had someone else randomly ask through my whois privacy email about advertising on a site.
I've received quite a few similar messages wanting to purchase links/advertising. My spamradar went off immediately though when I saw that the name of the person and the name on the e-mail address don't match. The messages also seem to follow the exact same format.
