I like the concept about sites like about.org where they allow you to build a profile page, with some content that links back to your site. .. and I also like to read interviews from people who are out there innovating, designing and making a difference on the net. I thought of combining the two together. Having a profile about your website and sharing an inspirational story about yourself with your audience. I called the site peoplebehindwebsites.com - check it out, and fill out the contact form at the botton of the page if you're interested in adding your site to it! All feedback is also welcomed! Cheers
To all those that want to get their site on peoplebehindwebsites.com please make your way over to http://www.peoplebehindwebsites.com/interview-questions/ and answer the questions. Should take you about 30 mins
I like the concept. We are currently working on integrating reputation management style sites into our directory list, so depending on what can be done on your site it could be an interesting addition. Perhaps you can tell me more about it in PM, and how we might be able to integrate like people can with aboutus.org and their URL. I think to get it to take off some more, you need to start talking about it in a marketing sense because the name People Behind Websites is rather wordy... Being able to refer to a PBW profile might be more meaningful. Good luck with your project if you need any assistance or suggestions do let me know. Always interested in helping out a fellow Sydney-sider
I feel what you are doing here has real potential. Is my attention to do the deed, so to speak, but after reading your questions I am seeing a need to give lots of thought to the answers. BTW pay close attention to what silencer has to say.
Update: Thanks for getting in touch with me guys. I've already published two recent interviews and I'm currently working on a third to get up on there shortly. If you see value in it, please go down to the bottom left of the site to add your website. Cheers
