Good point.. But I mean, not making them count for posts is what should happen.. people can run up posts in the GC so it looks like they're reputable trustful members and then just SCAM them after. It's not all about sig links.. it would probably still continue if they were eliminated.
in another forum i belong to, the GC section doesn't count towards post count. so you know someone with 4XXX posts knows what they're talking about.
That would just encourage littering of the other sections. Johnny Post Padder isn't going to stop just because he can't post in the GC and Intro sections.

This has been suggested like a thousand times before. Fryman would have killed someone, if needed, to get this implemented.. but for some reasons Sawn denied to do so..
Shawn can simply hide GC and P&R for users have less than 100 posts or such. If he thinks it's needed though..

If the problem is only a few people , why not just single them out ? Taking away everyones freedom to post seems like a big deal. What about the members who post threads that are actually good ?
