http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/05/16/D8HL22H81.html Are they finally doing it? This may actually be able to put and end to lot of unanswered questions! By ROBERT BURNS AP Military Writer WASHINGTON The Pentagon on Tuesday released the first video images of American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the military headquarters building and killing 189 people in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The images, recorded by Pentagon security cameras outside the building, were made public in response to a December 2004 Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, a public interest group. Some still images from the video had previously been leaked and publicly circulated, but this was the first official release. The airplane is a thin white blur on the video as it slams into the Pentagon at ground level. Almost instantly a white flash and a huge orange fireball appear on the video, followed by a tower of gray-black smoke. One of the videos shows a Pentagon police car driving in the direction of the impact point shortly after the plane hit. Traveling at an estimated 350 mph, the hijacked American Airlines plane plowed into the southwest side of the Pentagon at 9:38 a.m. EDT, shortly after two other hijacked airlines were flown into the twin towers at the World Trade Center in New York. The attack set off fires in a portion of the Pentagon and killed 125 people inside, in addition to the 59 passengers and crew and the five men who hijacked the plane at Dulles International Airport. The Pentagon had previously refused to release the videos, saying they had been provided to the Justice Department as evidence in any criminal proceedings. "We fought hard to obtain this video because we felt that it was very important to complete the public record with respect to the terrorist attacks of September 11," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch. Cheryl Irwin, a Pentagon spokeswoman, said families of the victims of the Pentagon attack were not consulted before the videos were released on the Pentagon's Web site. ___ On the Net: Links to two videos at http://www.defenselink.mil/pubs/foi/index.html

Doubtful. Most have already been answered here, yet still ignored. Young angry white males with low IQs never run out of senseless questions to give aid and comfort to terrorists.
In one frame it looks to me like you can see a tail of a big plane, but the video is definately not clear enough to dissuade any conspiracy theorists.
An end to conspiracy theories? That I doubt. I found it interesting watching this live last night that the CNN reporter who talked about the story, was also the original reporter on scene reporting back on 9/11. He mentions in his story how his words and video from the original story were taken completely out of context to create doubt. Particularly when he mentions no report of a plane crashing. He was referring to no reports of a plane crashing or landing short of the airport, not that there was not report of one hitting the Pentagon. I was completely impressed with the good job of A-1 reporting by this guy. There may be hope for CNN yet! In that same story, this reporter also managed to get an image of a piece of wreckage on site (believed to be part of the nose). I believe it was the first such "plane part" image captured. I really have to applaud this guy for taking the time to spell out just how easy it is to rewrite history by taking things out of context.
boiling point of tin is about 295 celcius, incineration? 2000 celcius on the dot. kerosone hits temperatures of around 1900 c when burned in that amount and with that much air feed.... the official story is that all the parts incinerated, frankly i think it's bs
Which is the BS part? The conspiracy theory in toto, or the official line of the parts being vapourized? I can't quite get which you're refering to. For my own part, I think that it would indeed be a dark day for anyone in the US government to be involved in any kind of deception regarding this, but I simultaneously do find the seemingly complete lack of wreckage odd. Possibly not completely inexplicable, but odd. As to the video, can this be the best footage captured on that morning? I kind of always imagined the Pentagon having cameras every 10 meters or so around its perimeter. Meh, whatever. JP
I concur with previous posters. No amount of evidence or logic will have any effect whatsoever on conspiracy theorists.
Yes, because if it looks too good for them, it will be labeled as bias, BS and propaganda. I wouldn't be surpriced if the movie was edited so it would look less like an Airplane and more like a cruisemissile.
I think it'll take a few days for the conspiracy theorists to read the opinions of their lords and masters before they come back and attempt to explain whats in the videos.
