Yup. Anyone that thinks "outside of the FOX" has known this for some time now. The illegal occupation will continue aided by the puppet government that was installed. Still, as long as the sheeple get their share of Friends, Paris Hilton gossip and their regular dose of 24 then all is well, nothing to worry about, Bill O'Reilly even told me so.
well they did the same thing with Germany after WWII. They stuck around till everything was back to normal and then kept several strategic basis. Would not supprise me at all.
Would be interesting to see who in the Pentagon is suggesting this. "NPR reports" but where is the source of the info? Who is NPR talking to, to come up with the allegation? It wouldn't fly anyway.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/01/09/60minutes/main592330.shtml It seems like it was in the works for quite some time.
So alex jones told you this? Since you know, and the NPR intentionally omitted any reference to a specific name, who in the Pentagon is suggesting this? What's the difference between an illegal occupation and a legal one? Are you finally admitting that you want terrorists to take over Iraqi people? What if they wanted you to live under that same rule, would you? An alex jones sheeple, projecting sheeplism onto others! Too funny
NPR is just another outlet for the left who try to discourage americans...its just all part of their propaganda...
Another useless thread. Here's my response in which I will be sure to not monitor closely. Winning the war is easier than you think. No people, no problem. Secondly, if you don't want to take the quick route, split the country up, give each majority its own little happy racist land and tell them if they screw up you'll take the old atom bomb out of storage and create a glass desert over their cities. Then when they think you're bluffing, take out a fake city with full coverage using a 20 megaton bomb. Still doesn't work because they're fanatical? Sell the land to Israel, and to hell with them. Iran - support the youth uprising movement, watch Ammawhataada get his ass kicked in the street by college students, and then when all hell is just about to break loose - come in and give everyone chocolate bars while simultaneously giving them a clone of our constitution to work from. Pakistan and Usama. Tell Mustafa (yes, it's a joke) to find the mofo or else you'll usurp his power by appointing Elton John in his stead. Scare him. China. Tell them to go away from communism completely, open up, and go democracy, or else you'll start buying everything from Taiwan, and basically restrict their ability to export with a blockade, if the WTO says they don't like it, just remind them who has 7-9,000 un-dismantled nukes at its disposal. N.Korea. Well, damn Bush, you really screwed this one up, didn't you? Quick fix time! Tell China to take them out and make them free too, or else the blockade stays. If China goes berserk, ask Russia to help out, and tell them they can have China too. Africa. Yeah. Syria. Tell them to suck it up or else Israel gets a new area to occupy. Palestine. Carve a part of Iraq up and declare it as such. Please note, most of these I would not actually do, but it's fun to think like a jerk sometimes... Don't like it? Don't read it.
Splitting the country and power sharing is usually the obvious solution in countries with religious and ethnic tensions, and has worked well in the Balkans and northern Ireland, but I doubt it will happen in Iraq given that allowing the Kurds their own land would alarm other surrounding countries who have a Kurdish minority, and therefore feel their land is being threatened. Also the Kurds are used as a strategic asset - support for their cause is usually only heard in the West when their is an unfriendly government in Baghdad.
Isnt a good idea that they start contemplating more than short-term anticipated outcomes? If that was done originally...
What did you expect? The oil contracts gives the right to Iraq oil to the oil companies for next 25-40 years. Without American army to enforce the contracts, those contracts don't worth the paper that is written on.
