Not sure if this is the right place to post, here is the question need your views please

I have a few sites related to freebies, win money, competitions and scratch cards all have exact match domains and have been beaten up by penguin.

Would it be good idea to buy a brandable url and redirect all the existing domains?

    What do you reckon?

I wouldn't suggest doing a redirect if you looking at it from an SEO point of view. Your site would have taken a beating from the penguin update probably due to a poor link building structure that you have used. Essentially if you want to get your sites ranking good again u will need to revise your link building and focus on High quality, relevant and contextual links with a massive link diversity. Also make sure your onsite SEO and content is done properly..

    Hope this helps..

Well if the site was for online competitions with an exact match domain the anchor text was predominantly online competitions.

So if I have a site for free competitions with the same anchor text and redirect that it will help with link diversity won't it?

I think from most forum I have read, to counter the Penguin, just tweak abit of your content. Make sure it's relevant to your niche and avoid keyword stuffing.

I don't think a redirect will help. Try adding some fresh, quality content. Creating some new high quality backlinks couldn't hurt either.

Content is good regularly shared on facebook - This bs from google about content is really anoying.

I can show you keyword stuffed sites outranking me!

They went after sites who used exact match domains and repetitive anchor text - It is bs for no other reason than to stop people being able to manipulate search and advertise for free.
