My website used to rank number 1 for a lot of phrases in the UK and around the world. Now the penguins slapped me and I can't work out why. Can you please have a look and give me your opinions http://onlinecompetitions.org/ Cheers
The tags (on the right). Tag clouds or whatever they are called just look like a div stuff with keywords. Some of your links ("competition news") have very long titles. They are more sentences rather than a title. Remove the bolding from individual keywords (prize, win money, etc). Remove the meta keywords tag (it's not used any more by search engines, just by spammers for keyword stuffing). Google provided a full list of changes (not just for Penguin of course, though, but the two Pandas as well): http://insidesearch.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/search-quality-highlights-53-changes.html Once you have corrected your own on-page, you want to look at where you have links - as in the on-page there. It's all about quality of content and relevancy. I'm guessing that online competitions was one of the keywords you dropped for. You still have sitelinks, so Google still has some trust in your site. Good luck! -Ryan, the Google employee (joking)
Hi Dear...My website is also hit by Google latest Webspam Algorithms because Google is giving a priority to high quality sites, having very informative content for user prospectives...You have to check your contents and keywords stuffing..because now the updation is going on..Wait at least 1 months to recover all website ranking...
