Hello All, Our website was having manual action visible in webmaster tools for bad links we worked for almost a year, and that manual action was lifted by Google month ago. Now Penguin 3.0 has hit it again I guess, we haven't done any link building or anything like this after getting manual action, in-fact we have worked to remove the bad links as the same was acknowledged by Google by replying and removing manual action. here is how the graph looks like: http://s27.postimg.org/ptd5cregj/emob.png Please guide and explain how to overcome it really is annoying.
Manual and algorithmic penalties are different... if you remove manual penalty, you can still get hit by algorithmic one. It doesn't make much sense to me but that's the sad reality
You sure it's really a drop, maybe google hasn't gotten your stats back to you. I'd give it a day to see if it evens out again.
Must day that was a huge drop! I think I must agree with Brandon here.. probably a small bug or something..
As I noticed on the graph your website was obviously hit and its not a bug Are you still in the process of removing bad links? If yes, Penguin 3.0 will surely affected your site. If no, there are still other issues within your site's profile.
Penguin no doubt. You see you can remove a manual penalty but still get smacked by Penguin. That's why it's important to clean up your entire link profile rather than just enough to get the penalty removed. Keep removing those bad links.
