Hi, Check out what i have discovered after Penguin 2.1 update! There is nothing to worry about update anymore! Let see who will win the game. I am not the best SEO consultant in the world, but i would like to share some tips that i discovered. Some of you may already know about this tip, so eventhough you already know what im about to talk about, plz don't get mad, maybe i ll find somthing new and share with you in the future. If you think what im about to write is incorrect, plz feel free to correct and teach me. Google has not been updated the page rank for the last 6 month as i remember, and people have started to put more weight on other metrics besides PR, when they i analyze the competition. Some people say, we should consider the MozRank as the way we used to look at google page rank in the past. I'm sure many of you agree with this However I was looking at all the sites on the first page for a electronic product, I realize that it may not be the most important factor, when we analyzing the competion, because some websites that were on the second page even had a higher mozrank, compared to the sites that were on the first page as well as the Page Authority and total links. All posts had a smilar content on it and targeted for a same keyword, since the keyword i searched for, was a specific name of the product.(search volume:2900/month) so i started to look at metrics on majestic SEO, and i could assume the difference and judge by myself what to look into for a competition I could see the site that were on the top first page of google had lots of backlincks with high citation flow and trust flow, but i was not able to see many backlinks with high citation flow and trust flow on other sites from Majectic SEO I'm not saying that metrics from Open site explore is not important at all, but when we analyze the competition, we should start to look more into metrics from Majestic SEO and see how difficult to it will rank for that keyword. so when we trying to rank for a specific keyword, first we should look at backlinks of 10 sites on the first page of google through majestic SEO, and see how hard it will be. If there isn't many site with high CT and TF on their backlinks, i would say go for it. This was just my small observation, and I know there isn't perfect answer for a SEO.
