I have some domains on Dynadot.com and today i found this section where you can find "Pending Delete Domains".
I found one great domains and i pressed "Place a backorder". It says "Starting Price $14.99"..And i now placed an backorder...

What shall i do now? I can read it expires in 10 hours, i guess there will be more than me ready to buy this domain.

But shall i just wait? Shall i login after 10 hours? Will the domain cost me $14.99 or will it go up?

    I am new on this.

    Or..............

Shall i use SnapNames.com where i can see the domain and its saying "Available Soon" $69 and i can add this to my "chart"..
    Thanks!!

I have now put the domain in my chart in my SnapNames account.
    It says "Minimum Bid $69"..

    Then i press "PLACE ORDER"

    Then is says:
Is $69 the highest i will have to pay if i win? (after i placed this order)
So it dont places bids automatically and i will get a bill with $1000+

Pending delete names can be backordered from a number of places. The most powerful services for backorders are NameJet, SnapNames, and Pool. They are usually going to charge you about $60 for handling a backorder for you - IF they actually win the name for you. If they don't get the name for you, you don't pay anything. If they get the name, but more than 1 person placed a backorder with the service that won the name, then it goes to a competitive bidding process, where the highest bidder gets the name.

Here's my usual way of thinking, when it comes to back ordering pending delete names:
    1. If I really must have the name, I'll place a back order with the 3 of the major backordering services. Let them fight it out, and then you just pay the one that actually gets it for you.

I generally wait until right before the backorder time ends to place my backorder. The reason is that lots of domainers just sort the listings by number of bids. The more bids a name gets, the more valuable people assume the name is. These people are vultures, so it's just better to not bring it to their attention by adding more bids.

    2. If I like the name, but don't love it, I'll just try to pick it up after it dropped. Pending delete names drop between 2 and 3pm EST every single day. You can just refresh your browser at GoDaddy every few minutes and see if the domain is available. If it is, just go ahead and order it right away!

You can only do this if there are no backorders at any of the major players (NameJet, Snap...). If there are, you'll never get the name this way, because usually it will just get registered within seconds or dropping.

Hope that helps to figure out how the system works. You could try placing a backorder at Dynadot. They are not as strong as the other 3 big players, but they might just get lucky and win the name.

I have a list of upcoming pending delete names here - it might be useful for finding other good names to get:

And also a list of dropped names that you can register right away:
