    Hi Guys,

My website have dropped recently since Penguin 2.1, and in The webmaster Google Tools i don't see any manual actions done by Google, and so i don't have the reconsideration request option.

My question is : I am wondering if i am penalized, but as i don't see any reconsideration request button, i can't ask google to know... is there a way to contact them without this request ?

Or... am i just paranoiac and i haven't been penalized ? and it's just my website which dropped post penguin 2.1 like a lot of others, and i just have to accept it :D ?

With the strong decrease, so you probably penalized. If you see the one about the automated ban. Analyze your portfolio of backlinks. A execute changes.

If there is a major drop after P 2.1, than its high possibility that you were hit. And if there is no any manual action means this is an automated and in this case you can not generate any reconsideration request to Google.
Here you need to analyze you backlinks and can disavow them via Google.

I do not know what your portfolio of backlinks, but the most common reason is too many sitewide links. Try to look at it.

I see. thanks guys for your answers. I was using a link building service and i think in the end it caused more damage than benefits... going to be a pain to disavow thousands of links ;-)
