Is it possible to get penalized for having repeated keywords in a URL?

    For instance: MyCarSite.com/my-favorite-cars/my-favorite-red-cars

Would this be considered valid, or would it run into any problems?

I was wondering how far you could take it. I would never do this, but I wonder if a URL like this would warrant some kind of penalty:

    mycarsite.com/cars/cars/cars/cars/cars.html :D

I don't think its also possible cause before I tried using yahoo ppc and they can detect if there's a repeated keyword. I'm not sure if that applies with that.

It still depends on how you use the keywords and your intention of including KWs in URL and its subdomains. Nothing wrong if the KWs are really needed to be repeated but URL should be in a way that it reflects whatever the content of a web page is
