Story from that vast rightwing conspiracy promoting, bible thumping, PNAC supporting, Gitmo loving rag - The Washington Post. And people wonder why liberals are labeled as ignorant http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/04/04/AR2007040402306_pf.html
Surely (?) she is aware that foreign policy falls under the constitutional domain of the executive branch, not the legislative one.
I was wondering what the heck she was doing over there, now I know, she went to mess things up and then boast good results back home... Ms. Hairy (Pelosi)....
This is the problem with liberals....they think that once they have even an inkling of power they have it all....remember all the non-binding resolutions about the war? Who is actually in charge of the armed forces? That would be the president, not the speaker of the house....however, leave it to libs to condemn all the good that our troops are doing, and to go around our foreign policy to create their own and then brag about it...
I was also really impressed by the way she presumed to speak for Isreals foreign policy towards Syria. What a loon. Can anyone say Logan Act?
hey at least now there is some foreign policy we can read about that doesn't sound like it was inspired by a john wayne movie or don pendelton novel.
Regretably the Pelosi visit lacked research, historical knowledge, cultural awareness, political nous, and managed to display what a bunch of inept politicians she represents The USA deserves better
That's all good and well, the only problem is that it's illegal. Read up on the Logan Act. It was not only the U.S. foreign policy she undermined, she did her best to usurp Isreal as well. I just don't understand what goes through the minds of these people.
Liberals know what's best for the country. We should all be thanking her for going around all the idiots in the world and speaking her genious mind.
I guess you didn't pay attention in school when they were flashing the cue cards explaining the 3 branches of US Govt. Circumventing the president's policies does not fall under a foreign policy that works.
