Adtoll has started a the new peel away ads.
These ads are 500X500 ads and these ads appear only when yor muse is over a caption.
These ads are therefore less intrusive and are beneficial for both publishers and advertisers.

I have given a small review of these ads here Adtoll Peel Away Ads

We update the Alexa once a night but we do find the API sometimes is a little flakey. If your Alexa has changed please contact your account manager and we can change it for you.

Keep in mind if your site is on a shared domain like blgospot we do not show the alexa rank.

The ad format is brand new hence there are no RONs currently booked. That's normal. At the moment you are seeing the AdToll default ad... when clicked takes the user to your rate card where they can book an ad. The link also uses your affiliate link.

We are already seeing Sponsored Ads being booked on Publisher sites.

My problem with AdToll, lack of advertisers.

They are definetly better than AdBrite at most of the things, but when it comes to the mass of advertisers that provide income..

I'll still keep it up a bit, even though it's showing the same "AdToll ad".

The Peel Aways are new so will take time to build ad stock from a RON perspective.

With regards to Advertisers we actually have quite a lot and Sponsored Ads get booked all the time, even peel aways are getting booked, its actually going crazy.

If you are not getting Sponsored Ads booked its usually because:

    1) Price
    2) Traffic

We find if the price is right and the rate card on AdToll is good enough and the price is fair based on the stats then you will get bookings.

Our autopricing is based on clicks, not views. It doesn't work for everyone and if not and if you are not happy with autopricing then you can set the price yourself.

Roughly 50% of our publishers use Autopricing and we get some really good feedback. Like anything though it won't work for everyone and we acknowledge that.

With regards to the peels.... we are now offering custom made peel away ads for 500x500.... Tara in the office has been making a few and we are already being swamped with orders! Our latest blog entry has more info and some examples, check it out at http://blog.adtoll.com/2008/02/11/need-a-peel-away-ad-tara-can-make-you-one/

Thats exactly right! It is a new ad format so it will take some time to catch on. Yes that Pimpin ad is a Run of Network Ad so is being distributed throughout the network. As more get booked they will also be distributed.

We are finding quite a few sites are getting Sponsored Ad bookings which is great! They have only been available for about 48 hours so they are very new but already we have more publisher sites using them than video ads, which I found quite interesting. The peel away ads do differentiate us in the market which is why there has been a huge up taking for them.

I am getiting 0.04$ per click which is better then other ads in your network i ope i get more and more money from it.

I didn't get much from other ad systems but i think i finally will have a good earning source
