PDF / User manual organizer

    I have around 100-200 user manuals all in PDF format that are from various manufactures. I'd like to find a script that I can easily upload these to allow my users to download any of them, the ability to either sort by manufacture or search (both would be perfect!) is needed.

    Is there any certain script that might come to mind that would fit my needs?

    What would happen if you uploaded the manuals to the media library, got the URL from each as uploaded, and make an index page with manuals listed in alphabetical order and linked to each file??
