I've been working on a product I wanted to sell through ClickBank. I submitted it a couple of days ago to the marketplace. I got it approved yesterday!! The product itself is called PDF Creator Live. What's PDF Creator live you ask? I'll quote myself from the FAQ: I would be so grateful if I could get some DP members to promote it! Pitch page: http://www.pdfcreatorlive.com (or http://zzzzz.25434.hop.clickbank.net/ ) So you can build your Hop Link easily: http://YOUR_AFFILIATE_ID.25434.hop.clickbank.net/ I'll be adding tools for affiliates over the next couple of days too: - banner ads (different formats) - keywords lists & ad groups - ad variations There already 2 other PDF Creator products in the marketplace, so here is a 3rd one for those who like to do reviews. My product is priced at $24.95 with 70% commission. At that price, it is a much easier sale compared to others (also, my website is much nicer 8) ) Let me know what you think!
Or I could do it for free. http://www.doc2pdf.net/converter/ Or with Open Office Or with the endless amounts of free tools. Your sales page looks nice.. but I wouldnt pay for something I can do for free! And the order now button under 'Create Secure PDF Documents' link to the homepage
And the search competition is crazy. You imagine typing 'make a pdf' into google. 50,000,000 results.. and 49,999,998 of them are for free programs or plugins. Apart from that, you got good design skills, because I think ure site looks ace.. maybe next time.
Thanks for pointing out this out. Thanks. As for the search competition and the availability of free alternatives, from experience this is definitely NOT a problem. The website with which is bringing in the biggest part of my revenue is a website selling something that is available for free on the internet. The amount of people who are afraid of using something that is free, and who'd much rather pay for something knowing they will have support and warranties to protect them, is HUGE. Just have a look at the AdWords ads when searching for "pdf creator" or "make a pdf" or "create a pdf". There wouldn't be any ad if people weren't buying these solutions. And yes, there are a lot of those ads that are clickbank ads on regular rotation. There are free alternatives to pretty much every piece of information or software that exists. But that doesn't prevent Microsoft, Adobe, or any software company or publishing company, big or small from making a killing
Yes but as an affiliate that means that there is a ton of competition to wade through and not only other affiliate sites but numerous sites which have similar software for free........kinda like pushing water up hill.......hell of a lot of work for not a lot of return. As others have said though the site looks good. Perhaps try another niche? Good luck!
You need to make a BOLD statement with a SOLID list of EXACTLY what makes your product better. You need screenshots and success stories. You need to give your software a NAME (possibly give out 50 free copies, or something along those sorts). Past that, design is nice, product seems solid, good work.
Lol another niche you say? Should NCmedia try another niche too because he launched everloss? Should all those make money products that generate millions in revenues try another niche too? ....
Wow.......I'm sure that he's flattered that you compared him to NCmedia but to me thats a really long bow. If you think it's that great or easy then why don't you promote it??
What I was trying to say but it obviously didn't come through is that you CAN NOT predict if the product will succeed or bomb. Products in narrow niches bomb all the time as do products in wide niches. There is no way you could predict it won't succeed just based on the selection of a niche. You were basically putting down someones work because you felt like it at that moment and that's my pet peeve because I know how much energy goes into something like this. PS: I'm promoting my own products but thank you for the question anyway.
There is a ton of competition in every niche. Finding a niche with no (or low) competition means finding a niche so small that no one bothers creating something for it because there's no (or low) profit to be made. Or it could be that it is so specific and not everyone has the knowledge to create something for a particular niche. And that is a problem that comes after you find such a niche, which is a challenge in itself I prefer to simply 'copy' something that is already successful. It's much easier, quicker, and less risky.
Thanks for your input I had a graph comparing my product vs. the others, clearly showing mine is superior. I had to take it off because of wording that ClickBank didn't like. I'll change some words and put it back up soon. Screenshots are on the way too. The software already has a name: PDF Creator Live. I'm not sure why I'd need to give out 50 free copies. Care to share the benefits of this? Apart from *maybe* getting *some* free reviews.
I'd agree to a point but I'm hardly going to jump into ultra competitive niches on the whim that something "Might" work or payoff. I'd prefer to look at the competition, examine the niche and see if it really is viable and if it all checks out then I'd be happy to take it on......maybe I over analise things Don't EVER put my words in my mouth, I was not putting anybody down and my pet peeve is people quoting something that I did not say, that statement alone just pisses me off....I congratulate anyone who takes the plunge into being a vendor or just takes the initiative and takes action. So what if your promoting your own products so am I , you think this is such a good and easy product to promote then surely you would be interested in marketing it? As a affiliate marketer I wouldn't dream of promoting this myself as has already been explained by others, too much competition and too many free solutions but that's just me.......good luck to anybody who promotes it, I hope you make a fortune!
