I ran a "registry fixer" the other day and I accidentally clicked the wrong thing to remove and ended up being able to sort somethings out however I have encountered some more errors... I'm running Windows XP (SP2) Home. When I access my Start Menu the following options (when I click them) [My Documents - My Pictures - My Music - My Computer - Control Panel] throw this error at me: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel." Oh also for some reason I cannot right click on my "All Programs" stuff either. I've tried Google-ing it but all I get are results on how to stop the access to My Docs, Pics, Music, Computer, CP, etc.. however I cannot back-track it. Oh and yes, I've system restored but system restore doesn't save previous changes in the registry.
Just reinstall your Windows. If you playing with a registry without doing any backup, then not much you can do beside reinstall the OS.
