"Well Ive came up with a little trick my self. It works pretty good. This method is for computers that have way to much crap! MP3's, movies, games. If you delete a lot of stuff or have since you've owned your PC I recommend doing this. You should see at least a 30% increase of performance.

    1. Would recommend making a restore point.

    2. Download this program search and recover.

    3. Install S&R

    4.Start search and recover.

5.When the program starts on your left hand side you should see "recover deleted files" below you will see start click it.

6.Make sure your hard drive is checked. (most common would be local (c:).

    7.Click next.

Depending on time you can choose smart scan its very quick. Or you can choose both smart scan and perform sector but this would need an hour of time. Using only smart scan can take a few minutes.

    8. Check smart scan or perform sector if not both of them

    9.next

10.It will scan for all deleted files.

    11. it will show a list of deleted files. Navigate to EDIT click select all.

    12. Click terminate Make sure you click selected (xxxx)

    13. A window will pop up select yes.

    Your finished!

This will delete all files you already deleted. When you delete a file it compresses and gets stored on your computer for a period of time. I just did my scan found almost 6 gigabytes of deleted items! You should see a huge boost in performance. I would recommend doing this once a week or at least once a month. Please comment your findings :D"
