I played Roadrash, NFS2 and tycoon when I was a kid. I got addicted at that time. Playing tycoon was so fun, I raised the money up very easily in the early game, but later the profit go down quickly
PC game is forever. In the previous years, PC game is more popular. With the development of handphones, more and more people reply on phones, so the mobile games get more popular. But you also can make money by your PC app. You man make in-app ads, such as CPC, CPM or others. Some of our publishers can get $3000 per month. For my review, it is indeed luxury.
Even if they will be gone, you still can play the old games if you made a colection or something like that ...
GOG.com, home for a lot of old games and quite cheap as well. Steam has a massive collection as well. I started playing with C64, and have been gaming ever since. Wouldn't necessarily call myself a gamer though, rather I just enjoy games as entertainment and a way to wind off. Everything from puzzle games to grand strategy and obscure tactical wargames.
Hmm, pretty nice site GOG.com , but i have my ways to download the games for FREE . I don`t need to pay for any of them . Allthough also i`m not calling my self a gamer as i don`t play games very often. Just to entertain myself from time to time when i`m tired of working
I agree with the majority, in times of economic down turn, people turn to games (pc, console, device) to save a few bucks. With many females in North America becoming successful twitch streamers and etc, PC game sales are only scratching the surface of the demographics. Major title releases do take time to fine tune and release. Who still buys physical copies anyways?
The thing about PC games is that a PC can and will always for the near future outperform platform games and tablets and mobile devices. This will be the saving grace for the PC cause even though PC game industry may go down when some other console developer creates a game they are rewarded when they make a PC version also due to more graphic capability and what they can offer game wise.
I don't think that PC games will stop selling. Indeed, with the rising and progressing technology the sales will increase.
