Talk about driving the market down. $7 per post and 23 posts completed in 24 hours. What incentive is there for me to bid more? And why do people who I have blocked still keep taking my money?
Is that still happening? I just put 75 posts on there and don't want the blocked ones to post. I put most on for $6, is it going that fats nowadays? I see they finally got the multi links option in there too. Good to see they are implementing most of the feedback they recieved (my feedback at least).
I'm using it to drive ranking up for an upcoming popular search term. But I'm wondering if I should try it on some already existing but very competitive terms...
For me it worked best to temporarily boost phrases you rank 20-50th for. Google seems to think that if 30 or so bloggers pick up a certain page, it becomes newsworthy so it deserves a temporal boost to high on page 1. It subsequently drops back to a better position that it used to be but the profit is in the time you are #1-3. It has worked almost every time I did this.
but what if the blog homepage has some PR, would that not also 'cast a vote' for your site/page, and raise your PR over time?
Long term yes. But I think in most blog software deals like Wordpress, posts only become a low PR via the homepage. External links can make a difference but these PPP posts hardly qualify for external votes in to the blog me thinks. But yes, they obviously will count as regular links. I'm just not expecting a lot of weight/love coming from it because not many blogs will be an authority, not many of the pages will be high PR and not many pages will have relevant incoming links themselves. But still, it will count to some extent. Just too early days to say how much.
Another update: 3 blogs from reviewme didn't accept my offer within 48 hours. On the plus side this saved me $500.
http://www.blogsvertise.com you pay per entry, how many blogs is this entry going to be published in ???? http://www.reviewme.com/ you pay per review, after you get the review from the blogger how many blogs is this entry going to be published in or it is just going to be published in the Blog that you requested the review from ???? http://payperpost.com/ you pay per post and it is at least $4, I don t think a post in Blog worth that unless this Blog has many other Blogs use its RSS, and I prefer to use low rate paid directory
Blogsvertise you pay around $20 to per post. Each post is shown on one blog. With reviewme the review is published on the blog you requested the review from. If you think $4 is too much for a blog post then I paid posting is not for you. Why should somebody sit down and write a blog post with a link to your site unless they are getting more than $4. If you think $4 is a lot then steer clear of reviewme. I paid $250 over there.
I am just comparing with paid directories, many of them are good and you can get back link for $4 and up, and if you pay more than $10 it is guaranteed to get your link in good PR page Paying $250 for a blog posting IMO worth it in case many other websites use the RSS of that blog I hope that you update this thread with your feed back about this service
wisam74us With a blog post you can get some great relavent text around your link instead of just the usual directory layout of title description url or similar. Keep the links looking natural and they may hold more weight.
100% Right. But If I have some money let s say $40 to spend for SEO services for low budget customer, I will prefer to pay them to list him in good paid directory like BCentral rather than pay them to get reviewed buy a blogger. BTW our SEO guys use these services but not for all customers. Any way this is out topic, here we are trying to evaluate the three services and order them in terms of good SERP and traffic. I hope that mad4 will write more about his experience with them, and I will try to get some feed back from our people about them.
The links I got were as I expected. None of the posts slated my site and all the links were live links with decent anchor text. The blogs on PPP were all pretty low quality but what can you expect for $7. the sites I got reviews on from reviewme were high quality and I chose them carefully. As for ROI I guess total traffic was only a few hundred visitors but it was the links I wanted not the traffic. Its surprising that you can get a post on a blog that you consider to have a lot of traffic and only get 1 person actually reading the post and visiting your site.
My new batch of 26 PPP posts also went in hours and I'm quite amazed with the quality actually. Only one was below par and one sort of alright enough. The rest did a great job doing a bit of their own research and coming up with a quality post.
PPP are about to force bloggers to disclose the fact the post is paid. Looks like this is in response to some stupid US legislation that wouldn't even apply outside the US.
I'm sure this won't affect the low traffic blogs at all. Most of them must have zero readers. PPP is the most profitable ad network for low traffic blogs apparently.
Interesting. I would think this disclosure would make it pretty easy for the SE's to identify paid postings - and we already know how google feels about paid links.
At SES they said they didn't mind sponsored content though. We're not just buying a link but actually a generally quality bit of fresh content. Pretty much the same as me hiring staff to write content.
