17 days is amazing alright, just not in a positive way Freewebspace, don't count on 17 days next time, it might well be a month. Check out alternative methods to withdraw paypal funds like remit2india, gCard & xoom.
In the Netherlands I get my money in a bank-account in four or five days (from paypal). I was thinking of complaining about Amazon - they don't send money to foreign bank accounts yet - but for people in developed countries I guess checks are the only way to go... Life's just not fair.
I usually get PP check in 12 days. But this time its taking longer...maybe because of the holidays this month.
yeah most probably bcos of the festive season going it might take sometime to be delivered . Keep fingers crossed and hope for the best
same here. I am keeping my fingers crossed as i had ordered for my chk 2 weeks ago and still not recieved it... Hoping for the best....
Oh this is the first time i ordered for a cheque and it was issued on 3rd oct! not recvd yet.... hmm...
Paypal pay horrible exchange rate, they pay almost 10% less when they convert euro to dollar or dollar to rupee But is there any better way? How about this people staying in same city can exchange paypal dollars and get paid via bank transfer in their country
yeah the bad part of paypal is the low conversion rate .. bt still if paypal aint there then it would be difficult to run up the biz . so I feel the conversion rate is fine but then again google conversion is gd bt thats google... LOL
10%? You must be kidding... Yes it is significantly lower than what you see in the newspapers but that rate isn't applicable exactly for non-trading transactions.
Mine was issued probably on 5-6th... not yet received. maybe due to holidays. And paypal currency conversion charge is 2.5% stated clearly on their site.
One question here. Does paypal cheque arrive through Indian Postal Service or any other mail service? Like if I want to check if my cheque has arrived or not, do I have to check in the post office or somewhere else... Thanks.
Receiving cheque in 21 days + 15 days processing time to clear the cheque so total 36 days to clear the amount and credited to my account.
Receiving cheque in 21 days - it depends on postal service in your area. 15 days processing time - I think if there is any citi bank branch in your city then it takes hardly 1-2 days (same as other cheques).
