Paypal's going to give me money?

    I don't understand this... just got a weird email from paypal:
    Anyone else got this one? Any more details about what this is about? :eek:

    Yes its from paypal and its legitimate. Because they were down for several days a week or so ago, they are going to "give back" any fees you would have been charged on 10/28. Just a good will gesture.

    I got it too. When I logged into PayPal it was confirmed. I didn't have any transactions for that period though so it didn't affect me.

    resalebroker, that period is today. any fees you get TODAY will be refunded (at least that was my intepretation), rather than fees during the down time.
