Ok first, I read that I shouldn't post scam reports here, but this is a little bit different and besides I don't know where else to post... Whatever move it if you find a better category. Now, a while ago, someone got a hold of my eBay account (Only my eBay, not Paypal) and set up some fraudulent listings using my good credibility. They did however change the Paypal account associated so that the money wouldn't go through me. It is now months later, and after dozens of phone calls, document submissions, document resubmissions and "Additional information required" emails, I finally get this "Limited account access appeal denied" email. Basically indicating that I can wait 180 days from the date of account limitation and then get my money. I am wondering if anyone has ever had this happen or what I can do? The money in the account is not nearly as important as my Paypal account. Obviously, in this business, it is very important to have one. Will they actually close my account allowing me to just create a new one? Or will it still be frozen just with the money transfered to my bank account? They want an email instructing them of how to deal with the money which I will go do soon. Interestingly, when I log in, there is no updated message, still just "account access limited." Is there any way I can get my Paypal account back? Thank you.
