Yes but there is a difference between in cash deposit made and a cheque deposit made. These is something called as white and black in money. ;)

No, it's "white" as long as you provide the right documentation while depositing it, the ATM withdrawal receipt for example & cite the source of income.

True... but in my case I have no time to run across the atm and then goto bank for deposit and then provide documents... :p

Currently I am waiting for the daam exchange rate to go up! Exchange rate is terribly bad! :(

I believe it's been between 44 to 46 for the past couple of months. But after deducting paypal fees, gCard or remit2india fees it becomes aproximately 41.

    Current rate: 44.720. Source: http://in.finance.yahoo.com/

    Paypal:

Exchange Rate: 1 U.S. Dollar = 43.5581 Indian Rupees

    Google sucked too:

Gave me 44.50 exchange rate! :(

Currently from what I see our market rate is: RS/$ 44.65

Google (Adsense) gives the best rate for the dollar. All others like Paypal give 2-5% below market rate.

All exporters want the Rupee to weaken and all importers want it to strengthen. India is a net importer and thus a strong Rupee is better for the country as a whole.

But 1 Indian Rupee = 1.35982 Pakistan Rupee

So our 44 Indian Rupee = 59.83189 Pakistan Rupee

    So no difference ;)
