    How many days it took for the check to arrive as i havnt recd yet which was issued by paypal on 3rd oct06...

    I lives in small town, nearest city is 400 KM away. I got my check in 36 days. So, you can expect it in within next week.

    Hahaha!:D This man speaks the truth:D I have my address shortened down to like "Flt#" & I've killed commas to fit it in. Luckily I don't request a cheque from paypal itself often these days as remit2india.com is faster.

    so it takes nearly a month to recv my cheque!!!

    I requested my cheque today. I put "Maha" in place of Maharashtra bcoz of the 35 character limit. Will there be any problem??
    (Maharashtra is a state in India)
    Also how much time will it tak to come to Pune ??
    & how does it come ? I mean by local post in our letter box?? or by courier??

    Removing spaces did work.

    Congrats for getting check in just 11 days. BTW exactly on which date you have requested for check ??? You got check in just 11 days from date of dispatch OR from date of requested that check :confused:

    Its very quick :eek: because paypal takes almost 4-5 days for processing and issuing the check so you got your check almost in 5-6 days from issued date i think. Normally delivery time for india is between 14 to 30 days (depends on area and postal service in that area.)

    I still prefer taking cheque from paypal as I pay income tax on it, since I have only one account with is under IT scanner. :D

    Xoom looks ok to me but how do they function? what exchange rate do they give you?
