Finally, my own story of a successful PayPal withdrawal. On October 19, I requested a withdrawal of $73.55 worth of PayPal funds to my UnionBank EON account. On October 21, PayPal marked the transaction as “Completed†and two days later, the peso equivalent showed up in my EON account. All in all, the withdrawal request took 4 calendar days. According to UnionBank’s Customer Support, PayPal funds received from merchants — those received from eBay buyers, for instance — usually take up to 11 calendar days before they are transferred to the UnionBank account. However, normal PayPal transfers — that is, transfer of PayPal balance (not credit card funds) from one person to another — may only take 1-2 calendar days. That explains why several withdrawal requests in the past had varying processing times. PMT member Biske withdrew PayPal funds on October 13 and received the cash four days later. Another member, jerometurner, got the funds after three banking days. Member smile experienced the fastest PayPal-to-UnionBank transfer; cash was transferred to the bank account after only one day. To those who plan to withdraw and transfer PayPal to their UnionBank accounts, here is a step-by-step guide to do just that.
Yeah.. it normally takes around a week to get your money wired to the bank. That is how long my moneybookers account transfers at least. I cancelled my EON account years ago, anyone know of an equivalent card that can work for Paypal?
gdibusiness, that is FutureGizmo's story http://www.pinoymoneytalk.com/2007/10/30/withdraw-paypal-philippines-to-unionbank/ The least you could do is include the link of the original article.
That's a great tip. Got my EON account already but my online account is not yet activated maybe due to the number of holidays this week in the Philippines.
Hmm... can anyone confirm thru Paypal -> Xoom -> bank ? I just remembered xoom also accepts paypal...
No, you cannot use Xoom to withdraw your own PayPal funds http://www.pinoymoneytalk.com/2007/10/12/xoom-cannot-withdraw-paypal-philippines/
Hmmm.. I hope so, It's been a few years since I last used it. Plus the fact that unionbank actually sent me a mail of recurring penalty fees ..
you can ask them directly. Their customer service number is 841-8600. They have reps on the phones even during this time here in the Philippines. I just got off the phone with one because my mom got my account locked when she punched the wrong PIN number thrice.
This is helpful . I will surely get my EOn union bank account as well. I do hope you can inform me how to used it.
Well, I advice you all to use Xoom for transfers in Paypal. To the ICICI bank it takes just about 24hours.
This is really a good news for Filipinos, i have my eon card already and just waiting for my expanded number and after that i can withdraw my funds. im so excited for that.
