Can I use my sister's local bank account to withdraw my funds in PayPal? Or is it required that it is my local bank account?

your last name must be same with the bank and the paypal account . its an requirement i guess. if you want to get money through your sister's bank. you must create an paypal for your sister and then transfer to her first. do not take a risk because if the transaction is rejected, paypal charges return fees.

Well, what I've heard is a bit different. Paypal representative told me that the name of the bank account MUST match with the one in my Paypal account.

May be this is unique to Hong Kong case.

to withdraw funds, the bank account needs to be added and verified within your paypal account. paypal has country specific rules so contact then for the right answer
