I am with you, that make sense. If we would have NEFT transaction ID, we could ask the bank to chase up with that. Paypal should start providing this information, in withdrawal details when they say its "completed"
Well it surly making big problems but PayPal have good security about funds transfer and once 14 Business days passed you can contact them so they can start tracing process and complete your transfer for your account.
Somebody at Paypal told me that the flight carrying funds got sick due to fluctuating oil prices so they sent it by train. So instead of e-transfer this time it's t-transfer...sO thats why its taking more time. Ok, just got a call from NEFT as well while i was writing this post. Funds have reached today morning here in INdia and they are sending it by rickshaw(dont ask me WHY? i think it is agian due to fluctuating oil prices).
Its not question of any security,Paypal guys are sitting over our money for 2 weeks now. They has failed to full fill their TOS that money will come to our account in 5-7 Business Days and its now over 9 Business days.
is this delay affecting withdrawals on 19th and 20th? do anyone else having problem withdrawing march?
We should contact paypal to provide NEFT details each time we withdraw to bank account. Its our money and we should be harsh on them to release funds and solve problems with out repeating the same in future
If this problem doesn't get fixed soon, I may have to ask my clients to do a wire transfer. I'm in dire straits. I have no money left in my account. Will a wire transfer work fine or is there a problem with that too?
I have an outside doubt, but am not sure. Can it be because of the high exchange rates (more than Rs.51 per dollar) that is causing this issue? can it be that the RBI is waiting for the exchange rate to fall a bit? I know this sounds foolish, yet I cannot stop pondering about it.
I am waiting for the funds to reach my bank. Was hoping to get it today. will check again tomorrow. i have one more withdrawl to make but i dont feel good about it now. let me first get the due payment , only then will i again withdraw. please let us know if any of you get it in the mean time. i am sure we will get the money but how long will we have to wait. and i think paypal should try to figure out instead of waiting for 14 working days. if its happening with only 1-2 people that would have been okay. but soo many people not getting paid in time, they should show some responsibility. :| Also , i think it would be better for everyone if any mod can join the other thread with this one. we can all have the conversation in one place.
I can understand but as from their TOS policy we are not yet complete 8 Business day. Let's assume 19th as a Withdrawal date then Business days where 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 2nd March as 20th ( Strike), 21th,22nd, 28th and 1st ( Off Day ). I just clear points about business day. I am sure everyone of us feel pressure now and I am sure PayPal is also now feel pressure about same.
Hello Everyone, Do you have contact details of Paypal India? My paypal account shows "completed" and the funds have not reached the bank after 15 days. I checked with the bank authorities at NEFT department in Mumbai and they said they have not received any such funds. Whom should I contact to track what went wrong and get the money? Paypal or Bank Authorities or RBI? Does this mean I lost the money? I checked paypal's site, there is no contact details and has no offices in India too. Can anyone in the forum has similar experience in the past and how you have got your money? What's the next step? Thanks for your help. Akumar
I agree let's wait long enough for there to be absolutely no doubt. No use complaining only to have them tell us to wait for a few days more
Paypal India Pvt. Ltd has their office in Chennai. But smartly they never disclose their office address. May be we can call them slumdog millonaires. Anyone knows , who is the owner of paypal ?
If you have gone through this thread in its entirety, you might have observed that many more are facing similar problems of late. Can you help us with one information? In which bank are you withdrawing money to? Is it HDFC?
Well the main thing is that there is no bankside problem. Becuase all transactions of 19-20 feb are pending. This problem is from CITIBANK which is the main remitter. As per my talks with AXIS Bank NEFT devision, a lady told me that the money must be in office account of CITIBANK and they have not retried processing it when the RTGS was down due to RBI strike.
hmm.. you mean to say that paypal is routing it to axis bank via citibank? as far as hdfc is concerned, they get their payment from paypal at their mumbai branch via neft and then it is processed to all its branches pan india.
sab saale mafia hain. Abhi UP main aa jayen to saari charbi ek din me utar jayegi. Ghar aa aa kar denge paise. Which in English would mean that CITI Bank and paypal think they are mafia but let them come to Uttar Pradesh and the People here would take off their fat within a few days. They would then ring your door bell to personally hand over cash to you! Problem is that DP guys are a bit too advanced for the sluggish Indian speed.
