Paypal Withdraw to India Delayed again (Feb. 2009)?

I had initiated one withdrawal order on 20th and till now,I also havent got it deposited on my HDFC Account.
Seems,there is some maintenance going on at their end.

 

I think most us are facing this problem. I have withdrawn to my bank a/c on 20 Feb . Process completed on same day but still amount not credited to my a/c .
Whom to contact either Paypal or my bank (Icici ) ?

No need to contact any one, you can't do anything as RBI's strike make this problem. Also do keep in mind that PayPal stated 8 Business day means we are still in their time limit.

If any case your funds not credited in your Bank Account in 14 Business day then you need to ask PayPal about tracing system of your funds. I believe tomorrow we would see payment clearance.

 

Let's keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow.

 

This is the reply I received from Paypal regarding this issue...

It clearly states that EFT is the trouble maker here (that is the reserve bank's NEFT) and for that one's strike the whole system got collapsed... I don't know what will be solution for this issue... Anyone knows how to contact reserve bank regarding this issue??? Any helplin number or contact details???

 

All of us should contact paypal and only then they will know the problem
Its paypal issue.They need to contact their bankers who will then file a complaint with RBI

Yes right, only paypal can contact there bankers and get status of these transacitons. I asked in AXIS BANK personally regarding the amount i withdrawn but they asked me to contact remitter to know about status of transaction.

 

Well PayPal is not Indian party, it's transition done from Singapore and they deposit money vie NEFT, So their job is only deposit money and rest of things are process under RBI and RBI is responsible for our money. PayPal or any one can't control on it.

I am sure from tomorrow we would see some positive feedback and people get money. I am also waiting for money but surly 1-2 days is enough for us to get those funds.

PAYPAL has nothing to do with it. Once it shows completed means,PayPal has transferred the funds to the banks.

Its the f**king indian banks,who are doing this..

I dont understand,what the hell has happened to them.
They are not processinfg PayPal payments, Wire Transfers etc..

Im still waiting for my 5 payments to get cleared. Im sure,we will have the money by tuesday night or so..

 

Yes, it's the RBI which is causing the problem and not PayPal. So, let's see if we get our transactions cleared tomorrow.

 

I have a very old relationship with paypal . I started accepting paypal way back in 2003-4. It was one hell of an agony. First of all if I remember correctly they did not even give cheques. It was hell then. I used xoom and it sucked up all my money . It was often an agonising wait for me till I located, by chance the guy who actually processed xoom payments. He was in Delhi and I got his phone no. and it was a bit easy then. Then paypal started cheque system but cheque used to come to India by ordinary post. Imagine! Half of my cheques got lost. I lost a hell lot of money not only by transaction fee to get the cheques cancelled but calling long distance to US and having a big ass , a dumb ass try to answer my questions. It was no use. No wonder Indian BPOs are doing a good job. Hail to them. Then they started credit card and then transfer to Indian bank. Now guys I made a transaction on the night of 18 feb to Axis bank and it has still not reflected in my account. In fact I made two transactions within 10 minutes and both the transactions are not completed, that is , money has not come in my Axis bank. On the contrarry, I made another one on 22nd Feb 2009 and the money came in within 48 hours. This is funny. Paypal customer care is so so so shittyyy I have no words for them. It is worse than manual telephone directory inquiry infact they are far better. Paypal needs some competition urgently otherwise it is going to become lousier and lousier. Another thing about our Indian banks. They have shittyy staff. The staff does not want to learn anything. they know nothing whatever about electronic funds transfer except some very few guys in ICICI bank. they are just blank and here we have genius cyber literatre young boys running from pillar to post about a job. what a bloody unjust system. I see that the guys on this forum are absolutely genius. they beat anybody in any country hands down. They are research scholars. So guys just write to paypal after 14 days and just go with them. contacting your bank is not going to help at all. Look at my heart look how many arrows paypal has shot in there. How much in terms of money I have bled and take heart from my case. You just cannot do anything . Paypal is a mafia and you have to bow down before it.

showing in my bank balance

Facing same problem my 3-4 Transfer is showing Completed in Axis Bank and HDFC and payment is still not in my account

May be it would be solved within 1-2 days

I have stopped my remaining Balance because I am confused what happens if I will not get payment

PayPal will be one side and safe answer (Payment send )
Bank is also other side and safe answer (payment not received )
