Yes transaction which got completed on/after 21st feb are not having any issue. However transaction dated 19&20th got struked as RBI's RTGS (Realtime Gross Settlement) system was down on 19th Feb for whole day. So now banks are under pressure to clear those pending transactions. Well I am sure that its not a matter of single transaction so bank ppl will surely find pending transaction while monthly audit which will be done today (sat feb 28)

I hope we all will get funds on monday. :)

I have a doubt. What happens if we don't get the funds on Monday? What's the worst case scenario? Will the funds be redirected to our paypal accounts again? If so, will we be charged a return fee? Could someone throw some light on these issues?

Of course Paypal will charge you return fee if the funds are returned to Paypal without getting credited in our account. What's funny is that our money is not with paypal nor with our banks (they said they have not received any such money to their bank), its stuck in between (probably reserve bank)...I am slowly becoming afraid about the worst case scenario...if it takes too long. There are no news or issues raised on this anywhere that's really funny.

I guess it is rectified soon.

But how can it get stuck? It will be either directed to our bank accounts or sent back to our paypal accounts, right? It cannot stay in RBI forever, can it?

I feel that if there is a delay from the RBI due to the strike, or a delay due to the large number of holidays, the funds won't be rejected.

I feel that funds can be rejected only if we have done something wrong. Here it is not our fault and even if the funds come back to paypal (which they shouldn't), we won't be charged any fee and we will get back the same amount that was sent (no penalty for the higher exchange rate).

Paypal states that the return fee will be charged only if the details provided were wrong. Most of us have transferred before and so the details will not be incorrect.

But I wonder when the damn funds will come!

I also withdrawn money on 22/2/09. Not yet credited in my bank account. But Paypal shows transaction completed. Do any one know the reason?
