Paypal Withdraw to India Delayed again (Feb. 2009)?

We need to make a union of all people involved with e-commerce as soon as possible otherwise some of us will have heartattacks

 

How were you able to check it from RBI ? Did you receive the NEFT reference number from paypal or ........?

It is Paypal problem. they are cheating us and buying time only..send automated email template...... nothing

 

What do you mean, that the NEFT has got no records of the online transactions made on the dates we are facing problem with..
It is really grave now...!!!!!!!!

 

In My opinion its paypal and/OR their bank (Most Likely Citybank) who has delayed all transactions
RBI Strike of 1 day around 20th may have delayed the things for few days but It can not hold the funds of so many people for such a long time.

The thread says.. NO PARTICULAR BANK, A FEW PARTICULAR DATES, NO PARTICULAR PERSON.
There is something wrong with the NEFT system for the transactions Starting from 19th Feb to 23rd Feb (as per this thread's input till now).

PayPal is releasing money - All the transactions after these dates are getting paid. So, most likely they are not having any problem at their end.

No particular Bank - The thread says, HDFC, SBI, ICICI & others have the same problem.

RBI is the victim - Yes! Why a few particular dates. There is somethign wrong with them for sure.

Solution - We should ask PayPal about the TRANSACTION DETAILS of the payment transferred via NEFT and then should contact both banks about the transaction. If these doesn't help, the bank/we can contact RBI for this mass problem.

I would say from 19th February to 25th February as till not I have not received any of my payments for the Funds withdrawn between this period.

 

Actully I have checked though a person who work in NEFT division of RBI clearing cell, he was so kind as he helped me, He checked the database with Remitter Bank i.e CITIBANK and the amount i in INR iam going to receive. After checking he told me that there is no such amount (exact amount) is processed from Citibank from 21 to 24th.

 

Yes,their is no reason why RBI will delay as they releasing NEFT daily.
the problem seems to be at CITYBANK and at paypal

 

I am not sure but I think paypal is sending payments from Deutsche bank since past couple of months. See If you can check with the RBI guy for this bank also

 

Unfortunately PP has a fat skin ,we are not able to penetrate it yet
so many people here are suffering (may be thousand) but seems paypal is not even aware of it

 

i had also withdrawn money from paypal on 22nd feb in SBI.
and usually it takes just 2-3 days. But this time. 12 days has been passed and nothing.

had contacted paypal and they said wait till 14 business days and still if u dont get it. Well show you how to initiate tracing the funds. where it stuck.

Please post here if anybody of you start getting funds released

Paypal is fat skin ,
its more than 10 day and i am waiting for my money , when i called my bank (CITIBANK ) then told me they don't have such tr.

Hope we will get our money soon .

 

Can you please check with your banks that from which bank the payment exactly comes of paypal transactions then i can check with the RBI executive and post the results here....

 

well i think many hv said tht they use citibank and dutchbank.
i saw tht u checked with citibank.. why dont try with dutchbank as well please.

also why dont all of us who suffered. mail paypal and call if possible.
let them aware about the prob. So at least those fools can start some action.

also is this prob only from 19-25th feb. means if i withdraw now.. will i get it credited successfully?

What the hell is CitiBank doing with our money ? Damn it!!

 

See guys, that is one reason why RBI does not easily allow companies like paypal to setup operations in India. They like to remain out of the purview of RBI which mandates that transaction involving two banks should take C amount of time and no more.

And you can always complain to the banking ombudsman at the RBI. Trust me guys, these banking ombudsman can pull serious sh1t.

 

I agreed with you.. this is not our RBI or banks problem. PP playing with our money...

 

No Doubts, This problem is either at paypal end or with their bank account who transfers the money to our banks via NEFT.
HAd it been RBI it could been credited by now.After asking from RBI guys, they have no clue of our transactions, they have recvd. no request.

They want transfer ID to track in depth, which paypal should provide, if their bank has initiated transfer.

Whats up with paypal...are they listening at all?
