Paypal With Indian credit card & debit cards

    Hi

    I want to know which indian bank card work with paypal for making purchases. (NOT FOR VERIFICATION)

    say i goto xyz.com i want to buy 123 prodcut & i click on payment button provided by paypal.

    I put my debit/credit card info & hit continue then do i get error or my indian card work ?


    Some bank for which i m interested , credit or debit which u tried wwith result pleas post here

    1. SBI
    2. ICICI
    3. HDFC
    4. Yes Bank
    5. Union bank
    6. Kotak bank
    7. Uco Bank
    8. PNB
    9. IDBI
    10. BOB
    11. lot of bank in india ig ur works then let us know

    As per my understanding.. Name of the bank doesn't matter.. If the card is either VISA or MASTER or AMEX CREDIT CARD and allowed to do transaction in foreign currency then there should not be any problem in doing transactions..

    Be aware that there may be foreign exchange charges of around 3.5%, transaction charges, etc.. so be careful..

    I aware of this

    Please note : If your card having this written on it then you cant use it on internet "Electronic use only"

    What i want to say that anyone tried to add fund in its pp account or paid to pp merchant by any indian credit or debit card then post here .


    so atleast we know that ok that bank card works & that one not .

    I cant go to bank & take credit card etc to test my own .

    just need sharing of result & experince.

    Well, if you have got a CC of any bank it will work with most of the sites.
    Also, most of them have VISA or MasterCard logo on them.

    but i want 100% confirmed information

    because you may know that in last 2-5 years when netsafe card are not here u cant confirm ur pp account even with credit cards.

    i just want to know is i add paypal as my payment gatway then is indian customer can pay through indian credit card ?

    I tried it on couple of sites and try to make payment through my visa credit card which was added with my paypal account but it didnt worked. I dont think that we can use our cc online through paypal, dont know what is the problem in it.

    I can just confirm you that IDBI bank does not work with ant sorts of Pp transactions even though the card might have visa or mc logo on it.

    The information wa passed to me by the customer service dept couple of months back.
