    Can i use paypal funds to buy domains/hosting on godaddy or do i need a credit card?

    They need CC attached paypal account so if you have low balance in your paypal account then they recover funds from your CC.

    Either that or just use the PayPal debit card. THat's what I do.

    Unfortunately, NO. In contrast of many other people's knowledge, Some websites accept only Credit Card verified Paypal and not just Verified Paypal, specially for asian countries including India and China.

    Godaddy is one of them.

    thats good, and i also need hosting for wordpress so i was wondering if dreamhost or laughingsquid accepts payments through paypal funds.

    Name.com (recommended, They sell hosting as well, but I will say their domain service is good, not sure about hosting)
    HostGator.com (for hosting)
    Namecheap.com
    Dynadot.com

    if you attached a vcc and it not expires then u can use that ;). But you should make paypal funds as first source and need to keep balance when u reg domains

    Using VCC in paypal is risky IMO. Better to use CC to play safe ;)

    Godaddy only works if credit card is attached to paypal a/c, If you don't have credit card? Then better to buy it from other registrar as suggested by members or otherwise buy godaddy gift card using another source and then apply balance to your a/c.
