Paypal Wishlist Credited but hesitant to log-in

I received an email regarding my earnings from the so-called "Paypal Wishlist" promo. Like an ordinary Paypal email, it does called me on my real name.

So here's what I feel hesitant.

I registered on Paypal wishlist using my secondary email but I received it on my primary email. Then when I log-into my Paypal, there's nothing about the payment received on the Paypal wishlist. I checked back the email and told me to log-in using the link provided. I tried clicking the link and I was redirected to the Paypal Singapore homepage.

I'm a registered Paypal user in the Philippines. So I kinda feel hesitant on logging in on that site since I have heard that Paypal limits accounts who log-in to other countries' homepage using a different IP.

    Anyone else received this email?

It's most likely aphising email as you say it includes a link and there is nothing in your account . So better to delete it and stop worrying about it.

But it addresses me on my real name and phishing emails don't do that right?
And it leads me to the legit Paypal SG homepage.

And there is not written that you have to click on it.
They have just told to log in to your account doesn't means its necessary to log in from that link.

Got a similar e-mail too. Already got the funds :)

If you're afraid, don't click links in the e-mail. Just go to your Paypal account directly you will see it there.

Even I got the mail but upon clicking the claim now link, I don't see any money credited yet. It says in the email that if the money is not credited, it will be done shortly. But what does 'shortly' mean?

From what country are you? Are you outside Singapore?
Is it really safe to log-in there if I came from the Philippines?

Yes it's safe to log in there. It's just that paypal SG is handling this payment as this offer was asia specific. That's why are you being directed to paypal SG. Don't worry at all and just sign in.

I wouldn't compromise the current funds for some meager wish list freebie, if I were you :) The safest way is to open a new tab, type paypal's URL and log in from there.
