Hi, guys, its strange yesterday I had $358.64, today I have $358.04, a few days before that I had $359.00 what is going on?? Why is my amount reducing on its own? I haven't received or made payments in the past 3 days, Is this normal? I have a personal account btw, I plan on upgrading soon..

Anyway if anyone can share your experiences and let me know if this is indeed normal =/, otherwise I'll probably send the cash straight to the bank.

Yeah I was hoping that was the problem :p but I haven't received or made any payments since Sept 01st, I checked history, I sent them an e-mail, I'm worried about this, even tho it is a small amount imagine if its reduced everyday, that would really turn out bad.

I really didnot heard of such problems before,i think some one knew the password and so he was trying to scoop out with few cents first of all and after that he would have scooped out the huge.
It's really a funny problem that i have ever heard:p

They have a remaining balance that they put up right after every transaction is made. Look at your last transaction and see what the remaining balance was. They can't just make money vanish like that without creating a record.

I'm not sure what happened guys :p they never gave me an explanation, i think paypal accidentally charged for no transaction. I did contact them they had nothing useful to say.. they just said the amount hadn't changed =/ heres what I think happened some of my currency is in USD some is in CAD, i think some of the money fluctuated as someone mentioned since the dollar value goes up and down occasionally.. thats what i'm thinking happened.. but I got the exact amount back after i sent an e-mail..

I heard similar from someone on another board about ePassporte. What I understand is, when you send/receive money in another currency ... due to fluctuating exchange rates adjustments are being made, which result in gain or loss of some cents.

Its only my guess, but I am quite positive about it.

AliQureshi, did you recently made any transaction in other than USD?

What about you jimmy? Did you made off-currency transactions before you noticed which in egold?

If you hold a balance in a different currency you may be seeing fluctuations in that currency.

For example I am in the USA but hold funds in GBP (British Pounds).

My overall balance is shown in US dollars but calculated from both my US dollar balance as well as the equivalent amount of US dollars for my GBP at the current exchange rate.

Naturally my balance goes up and down depending on what the exchange rate for GBP is doing.

This is it. I am facing the same fluctuations only the other way round. Having GBP set as the main currency and USD as a secondary currency, I get the total amount calculated in GBP but including the equivalent of the USD balance, that is the reason for the daily fluctuations.
