I noticed a fair few posts along the lines of "...account closed..." "..ripped me off.." "...funds frozen..." etc, etc. My own personal experience has been good with PayPal (and yes, there have been times when I have cursed them) and I have always found that as long as I follow the rules, offer value to my customers and deal with support issues in a timely and professional manner, I should have no problems with them in the future. In 2002 I was looking to make extra cash on eBay and after discovering PayPal I realized that I could take web payments from most of the civilized world - this opened up fantastic possibilities for a chap tapping away on his PC! I have used WorldPay for one of my sites and the costs for using them compared to PayPal were higher and the chargebacks more common. I now use PayPal for ALL of my web payments and will continue to do so until I find something better. I emailed them this week to let them know of a new product launch and the fact that my inbound payments will be higher. I received a timely and polite reply, thanking me for email and stating that there would be no problems at all as my account was in very good standing and that the person who replied would be keeping an eye out to ensure there were no problems. Despite a lot of bad press, I for one am happy with them and thought I'd share my opinions and thoughts. David
As long as you are good with them they are good with you as for the question you stated in the title you already replied it - there are other payment processors
