paypal whats wrong?

whats going on at paypal.try to access to my paypal account from past 3 hrs .

seems like they gone .

what hapend with them can anyone tell .

 

they have taken your money and ran with it.
mines safe though.

Maybe they are doing something on certain accounts? Maintenance or something?

there isnt anything now days coz we left ebay .& no other money activities.

They've been tweeking on their API today. The sites are going up and down. Probably messing with their code in preparation of the coming of X.com. Josh Spaulding is doing a launch today and it's really messing with him too.

 

If they were tweaking their API - they would of done it in a contained development environment and they of course will not want to effect live sites. But you are right about the API part, thats the bit that went down. Everything should be back up now.

Yeah, I made an assumption - when you wake up and read a hundred different stories about Paypal and their new payment options and websites that are getting ready to go online, and then the API goes down, you tend to think that one = the other.

Either way, today has been a hassle.

 

Its working pretty fine at my end.
