Paypal Want Pancard Number, Why?

    I have paypal free account. I am not premium member. There's no transaction takes place since till this time. I have just recently and asking me PANCARD number. I don't have pancard. So what should I do.?

    You should provide your PAN number in your PayPal account if you are in INDIA.

    In This case can I receive any amount from someone?

    I am confuse guys here that If Some of my items / service get sold then they definately try to payment via paypal. Then I will in trouble.

    What to do next.

    Yes you will receive any amount from someone if you think you will be in trouble by getting payment in payment then use any other payment processor there are alot of options

    Actually RBI is wanting to track your transactions and want to bite on your money by taking TAX. That's why they forced PayPal to make this rules mandatory.

    You can apply for pan card online. It doesn't cost much. ~INR150 through offline. It takes about 1-2weeks for processing and you shall receive it through post. As per RBI imposement of rules for Paypal, users need to enter their pan card.

    The problem is even after adding the PAN card there are lots of restrictions in Indian PayPal account now. You can not send money or buy anything with your PayPal balance. You have to link a credit card in the PayPal and you can pay from that card's balance through PayPal, not from the paypal balance. So it's a pain for majority of Indians and also very unfriendly for online business.
