I developed my digital product and want to sell it online. It's niche software for rather very small market.

My first thought was to develop a site where i will accept PayPal payments, and then they will be automatically processed. Licence for the client would be created and sent to the client and so on.

Well basically i want to set-up something similar to https://www.invisionpower.com/site/order/?shop_cat=1,3,4&cat1=184

Then i stumbled upon sites like 2Checkout, Plimus, ShareIt or even ClickBank. If i understand correctly this are services that for a small fee will handle all my transactions.

Now my question is: if i can automatically process my transactions with PayPal then what is the advantage of using such services over PayPal?

difference may be in the fee structure.. paypal is globally used where as others you mentioned have limited scope or rather visibility..

risks are involved in any online business you do.. GayPal or others can't control the amount of frauds/chargebacks that can happen to your online business.

    Hi, Leore from Plimus here.
PayPal has proven to be very limited. Unlike Paypal, Plimus has several payment options, 24/7/365 customer support, customizable order pages, and more.
To find out more you can visit our website at Plimus.com or feel free to email me at
