It really depends on consumers preference with which payment processor they usually use when they're shopping online. You should give potential customers both options (imho) to choose from. Understand that Google Checkout won't not release funds owed to you until 10 business days have past. This is due to you being a new business when you sign up to use their service. Checkout with Amazon is the same way it is 14 days that they hold the funds until they release it into your bank account.
Paypal is easier to integrate and Google checkout will give more credibilty and on the search results you will be magnified if you have Google checkout...of course b/c most likely the search is on Google.com
Paypal give me nightmare, after they limit my account, they close/banned my account today. there is usd 150 on my account, and I can't withdraw anymore.
Paypal is a headache for getting your funds sometimes. They act like the law and try to dictate the release of the funds. Honestly, all/most merchant accounts are a pain so you have to work with one with the less headaches.
PayPal. Google checkout is not available for Canadian merchants. The Canadian banking system feels Google check out is not secure enough. That must tell you something. I am a big Google fan though.
It happened to me also. After opening my account I got 2 payments totalling 150 USD. They said something is suspicious and put a "limited access to my account". Paypal sucks big time.
